Sen. John McCain back in the hospital, asking his son in law to take care of his daughter. The Arizona Republic newspaper reported Sunday evening that Senator John McCain has been readmitted to a Phoenix hospital for treatment of diverticulitis. The paper said it was unclear if the intestinal problem is related to Senator McCain incurable brain cancer.
Resigning would be the right thing for McCain to do. It’s not something he is known for.

As long as he “rests in peace” he has chosen to remain “a Senator” with all the “writes and praise” due him as a loyal member of the Roman Senate. But never a vote that will help Trump or America.

If he doesn’t last until May 30 then Doug Ducey doesn’t get to name his replacement and there’ll be a vacancy until the special election. Don’t screw us on the way out (again), McCain!

I think Ducey gets to name a replacement if the seat becomes vacant regardless of when the vacancy occurs. If the vacancy happens before May 31st, then that replacement, in addition to serving immediately, would have to defend his/her (take it to the bank it will be a her) seat in 2018’s primary & general election. If the vacancy happens after May 30th, the appointed replacement won’t have to defend the seat until 2020.

That is correct...another day or two, and we make it into May. It won’t surprise me if the Governor appoints himself into the job.

Wikipedia is generally accurate for finding out what performers were in some movie, or who wrote some song. But not so much for matters outside of that.
He won’t make it to June 1. He cant even die and give us an advantage. The last act he does screws us over.
