I wish he would do one of these a month or even more often than that. I would imagine that the atmosphere in Washington is stifling and he needs to get out of there and mingle with the people who love him.

Actually I drove by the venue this morning at 10:00 It’s a big building surrounded by a massive field which was filling fast.

Yes! I agree. Time put to much better use than a ridiculous White House Correspondents Dinner which, in my opinion, is just another excuse to either pat themselves on the back or bash a Republican president.

I believe that various organizations buy “tables” and then invite big bucks clients to join them at the dinner which is supposed to raise money for charity.
To me it is a tax write off and a way to impress big clients.
