I just think that the nonverbal cues would be more obvious with a ‘good’ person lying than with a bad person who is a chronic pathological liar lying again.

Excellent point.
I’ve noticed that the most honest people are terrible liars. Dishonest people have a lot of practice lying, so they are good at it.
