Alfie Evans is a sick two-year-old boy that the UK has decided needs to die- they have forcibly switched off his life support and are refusing to let his parents take him to Italy for treatment in spite of the fact that the Italian government has personally attempted to intervene in the case (click here for a summary of the case).
Interestingly, it has come out that the judge who has forced his life support off, Anthony Hayden, is a member of the Bar Lesbian and Gay Group (BLAGG), has written books supporting homosexuality, and is himself an LGBT-activist.
Justice Anthony Hayden, the judge at the center of the Alfie Evans case, is a member of The Bar Lesbian and Gay Group (BLAGG) and co-authored a book on homosexual relationships and their pertinence to children’s rights.
A post on the website of BLAGG – a British association that supports “lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender persons at all levels” of the legal profession – names Hayden as a member.

You need to read the reports. His brain is entirely beyond recovery. His brain tissue has been replaced in equal measure with a combination of water and cerebrospinal fluid..The thalami, which fire the pathways within the white matter, which generate sensory perception, is effectively invisible in the scan.
In simple terms the majority of the white matter of the brain and a significant degree of the cortex have been wiped out by this remorseless degenerative condition.
When this thug dies and stands in front of God for judgement, little Alfie will be sitting on God’s knee and the Lord will look down on this “man” and then look at a very healthy Alfie and Judge nobody will start burning in hell for all eternity where he belongs.
No one denies that Alfie Evans is very ill. With or without treatment, he will die. With treatment, he will be more comfortable, and possibly live longer. How can you justify murder as a reaction to illness? Terminally ill people, and those with cognitive impairments are human beings, possessing all the rights other humans possess. Even you.
I remember a case where a teenager slumped into a coma and remained there for over ten years. The doctors were stumped. Then he woke up but was unable to let anyone know. He could hear the doctor talking. He heard his mother ask him, "Why don't you just die already!" A physical therapist noticed his fingers moving. Slowly he was able to communicate. Turns out he had suffered a brain infection that the doctors could not diagnose. Just to give him the benefit of the doubt they did put him in a nursing home where he slowly recovered. He is now in a wheelchair, but he married and is now a speaker for the disabled.
What the doctors are doing is as bad as sloppy police work where they jump to a conclusion about a homicide without finding enough proof to convict, but they sentence the person to death row anyways.
The hospital has found a judge who will assure a conviction.
His brain has basically ‘melted’ beyond recovery and the Parents understand this clearly shown in his mrI’s etc....it’s in the report more than a few times that they understand this. They’ve seen whatever little is left of his brain.
The parents also understand at best they ‘might’ find a ‘new’ diagnosis not yet discovered in the filed of medicine nothing new change his condition ‘at all’..his brain is basically gone. Why would you put your kid’s body through more tramatic and severe seizures by trying to keep his body parts artificially alive, just to be used as a possible diagnostic tool. He will not recover and his parents are well aware of this.
The teenager you speak of still had grey matter/his brain was functioning, had not decomposed or melted. Being in a comma is not the same thing as this child has.which has destroyed his brain.
Have you read the medical reports?.. I have... and this child needs to be allowed to die and not keep his body alive to subject him to these horrific terrible seizures and violent convulsions caused by keeping him artificially alive. That’s just out right cruel and inhumane!
This is not cognitive ‘impairment’ by any means of that word. His brain is gone....what part of that don’t people understand? At less than 6 to 8 weeks old the disease was already taking his brain which is why he was having seizures.
You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. Alfie is not dead. He is very much alive. He is not a dead body, being artificially reanimated to appear alive. His brain has not melted.
The person you want killed is a living breathing human being. If you’re not intelligent enough to understand that, then you are in the group of people you advocate euthanizing for low brain function.
Years ago, I remember seeing a Nova, or some such program, about a little boy in England, who had gotten an infection or something wrong with his brain when he was around 2 or 3, and on a ct scan, he only had brain tissue on the areas lining his cranium, with nothing but cerebrospinal fluid filling up the rest of the area where the brain tissue was supposed to be, and he was of normal intelligence. It was quite remarkable.
The parents deny that he is having seizures, and say he is not on anti-seizure meds. It is not up to a judge or hospital board to tell parents when they should give up treatment for their child. Parents have gone to jail for refusing treatment for a sick child with, for example, cancer. This is even MORE monstrous, because the State is making that decision. And there is a group of doctors who are protesting the judge and hospital’s decision.
I’m glad YOU’RE not the person making the decision. Isn’t there a death panel somewhere, you should be attending?
Diagnosis is clear his brain is gone.....
