Ivanka Trump looked ethereal as she made her way to a state dinner today at the White House. Walking hand-in-hand with her husband, Jared Kushner, the daughter of President Donald Trump arrived at the celebration in a romantic Rodarte gown with classic black pumps.
The pink dress from the luxury labels spring 18 line featured a tired tulle silhouette with polka dot prints, ruffles around the collar and a floral accessory at the bodice. Her pointy pumps had a 4-inch heel and she completed the outfit with dangling sparkly earrings.
Special guests included Vice-President Mike Pence and his wife Karen, who looked elegant in a floor-length black dress by La Petite Robe di Chiara Boni that she paired with open-toe heels that had a shiny ornament around the toe strap.

(Ivanka & Karen Pence at State Dinner)
All this for France?
Always quick with the negative posts. Always.
You sway no one here.
It’s like British nobility. Fun for the American gals.
All this for France?
Since the founding of our country.
Yeah, we owe them a lot.
You know. Freedom from England and stuff.
Married for 33 years, and still in love. That cannot be bought; it can only be earned. Hats off to them.
Mrs. Pence and Ivanka look radiant.
Ivanka looks nice, but a little heavy on the red lipstick.
Shes wearing a sword.
Karen is looking good.
I have a friend who swears that having stripes on one’s tux trousers indicates you are a waiter or member of the band
While others I know insist that tradition formal wear absolutely requires a silk strip down the outside of the trouser legs.
Kushner has one, Pence does not.
What does CNN say about it? Sign of bitter discord within the Administration?
They BOTH look elegant! Karen Pence has really upped her game.......so glad we have CLASSY role models in leadership again!

Louise Linton’s dress was probably the worst, but she remains a princess in her own mind...
I saw Mrs. Pence and her daughter at the Nixon library last month for their book event. Wonderful women! God bless them.
Yes ... the ladies of the current administration know how to comport themselves with grace and elegance. It’s refreshing.
We're less than a month away from #57 -- and are still college sweethearts...)
