All eyes were on First Lady Melania Trump on Tuesday night as she stole the show in a glittering Chanel gown for their first White House state dinner.

The answer is yes Melania, in fact that dress does make your butt look large. Not Hillary or Michelle large, but large.

What’s up with the first picture and the obnoxious shadowing on the French President’s Wife’s dress?

I think Melania can pull off this look because she is tall. This dress on a shorter woman would be a distraction and cut her into pieces. The dress is gorgeous with or without the hem—the hem gives it a wow effect though.

Although Melania is wisely keeping it simple without a lot of embellishments, I think some diamond earrings and maybe an elegant updo instead of her hair on the dress would have been appropriate.

in still pics, yes. but in motion it’s wonderful. And, did you notice that the bodice is ‘x’s’ - same as Brigitte’s - and, jaw drop, Brigitte actually hid her knees in a floor-length, and, sports an updo! (and I love her shoes!). Applause for both ladies.

Agreed! I think Melania is absolutely over-the-top classy and elegant in an updo. I know the long hair draping over the shoulders is the style, but when she had her hair done up, she was even more stunning than normal.
