I recall when Roger Davis replaced Pete Duel (who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound) in the TV series, Alias Smith and Jones.
It just was not the same.
The series continued for another 17 episodes but never regained its popularity and was cancelled at the end of a shortened 3rd season.

And there was the demise of the main character in Valerie Hogan [played by Valerie Harper who was fired at the end of the 2nd season]. The sitcom continued with Sandy Duncan but under the title Valerie’s Family and then The Hogan Family which ran for several seasons.
I think the ‘Save Baby Mark (S04 Ep05] is one of the most hysterical classics in sitcom history.

D’onofrio’s portrayal of a crazy character in the new “Magnificent Seven”, is embarrassing to watch. (Although he’d probably make a good older Raymond, if they made a Rain Man remake.)
“over complaints of emotional abuse and creating a hostile environment”
So, in other words, he is just method acting as old school pre-rehab Mel Gibson?
“Doesnt he get due process before being fired from his job?”
Where have you been lately? This is the #metoo era Hollywood we are talking about. If someone even anonymously posts on the internet that you might have done something “problematic”, your career is toast.
Rarest wife and I have watched from the beginning and truly enjoy it. I hate that it's a reboot, because everything's a reboot; but the writing is decent and Crawford's character is totally believable.
Replace him with Christopher Walken. That is a character to lighten the drama.
It could probably use the money!
I liked D’Nofrios’ portrayal of a crazy meth dealer in Salton Sea.
He didn’t even have a nose!
I really enjoyed Lethal Weapon. Crawford as Riggs was the best part of the show. I’ll go back to watching the only season of The Good Guys.
The Good Guys was SO GOOD! My wife and I were tremendously upset it was cancelled.
I remember that guy, he was in a season of “24”, I did not like him much then. I tried watching the TV version of “Lethal Weapon” but did not like it much, some of it due to him.
Actually I liked the Jeff Goldblum character, he was different and came from a really dysfunctional family.
Now I always liked Chris Noth’s, Mike Logan character. I really just like the first four seasons of Law & Order, after Michael Moriarty left it wasn’t the same. I liked Sam Waterston but I like the character of Ben Stone more.
I didn’t like him on 24 either. That was the worst storyline they ever did.
Since when can't Hollywood handle a diva - male or female?
