Macron speaking on Iran. Notes that US and France obviously had different strating postion onthe subject, and the two have had a frank discusison. Trump thiks deal is a bad deal, Macron thinks the deal is a good placekeeper until at least 2025, and want to work on a new deal.
Macron lays out four points that he thinks can be delivered by the existing deal. In short, Macrom is defending the deal, or the bulk of it at any rate.
Trump is not smiling. He is hearing the translation in an earpiece. He turns periodically as if he wants to inject his piece of mind, maybe agreement or clarification. At any rate, he is listening carefully.
