Almost no mainstream news coverage. Wildly conflicting social media reports but if something were really going down I’d think it would be getting news attention somewhere. A lot of social media are saying it was a toy drone that got too close for comfort to the palace and security people took it out.

I checked some Arabic language media. All say unconfirmed or blame Qatari and/or Iranian activists for BS reportage. One report says there’s no palace in that neighborhood. Nobody trying to sell the drone explanation. All FWIW.
