In a piece published Wednesday, journalist Vera Papisova said she was groped 22 times over a 10-hour period while attending Coachella, saying that she was repeatedly violated by strangers. Papisova described being followed, grabbed, insulted, spoken to inappropriately and groped on multiple occasions.
Teen Vogue said all 54 women who spoke to the magazine during Coachella had a story about being sexually assaulted or harassed over that weekend.
Meanwhile, Indio police would not confirm to CBS2 how many complaints of sexual misconduct were made during the first weekend.

I wouldve expected to see something on their website, in terms of what to do if that happens to you since it is such a prevalent issue at music events, in general, Papisova said.

Last week, the program coordinator for the Sexual Assault Response Team at Eisenhower Hospital in Rancho Mirage told KMIR-TV that it sees a major spike in calls during Coachella, often getting a months worth of calls in just the two weekends. Many of the cases involve drugs, date rape drugs and alcohol, KMIR reports.

I thought Coachella was just about all these phony rich celebrities getting to dress up like hippies.
No, that would be Burning Man. Where there is never any sexual misconduct. #metwoorthree

Every celebrity has to get their picture taken there.
I am not in the loop. What the hella is coachella?

A series of musical events held in the golden state in the spring. I hear bee-ounce-eh was there the other day screeching about no more polite politics and furtherance of blackness. Or something.
Because celebrities are “better than you”.....

I already knew that. LOL!
Glitter-boobs are popular at Coachella this year. That’s probably why. :)
Who wants to bet that many of the “sexual assaults” were women crowdsurfing and being “touched inappropriately?” Young women will do anything for attention these days.
What a shocker.
Just leave the stupid festival.
Isn’t that the chick who sang “Voices Carry”?
She certainly has the RBF for it.
I don’t even know what sexual assault or sexual harassment means anymore.
She was groped 22 times in ten hours, but it took a lot of effort on her part to find those best places to be groped, and to repeatedly go out of her way to surf back through those hotspots, while dressed like a streetwalker, and ringing a “come and get it” dinner bell...
She certainly was not hiding away in a nunnery.
I dont even know what sexual assault or sexual harassment means anymore.
Toss in racism.
