I wondered about “council”, as well.
Shoot, with Mueller being backed by the MSM, DS, dems/libs/socialists, neverTrumpers plus whatever percentage of the "R" party is just pretending, "council" (implying a group rather than an individual) is perfectly appropriate.
I'd probably call it/them a "mob" or "gang", but I just don't do nuance......
