Why the steady pit bull fetish here.

I was in Maryland 2 weeks ago to pick up a truck I bought, upon arrival and stretching out at the marina where the truck was out of nowhere a Pit jumped on my 13 year old Jack Russell and was immediately kicked off my dog by my friend who was with me before it could bite my dog.

My dog has been attacked 2 times in his life both by a Pit Bull, I don’t trust them for 2 seconds!

There’s another species I feel that way about

I had a similar incident, my dog (who's a mongrel) exceedingly friendly, was very friendly as a puppy, she'd go up to say hello to every dog, never barked or bit or even growled (happy go lucky). She went up to a Pitbul bitch and that dog bite her on the nose without even a warning growl

Since then I despise pitbulls.

I'm aware that the owner has a strong influence on this but the dogs were built to attack without warning, they're strong and have a powerful bite.

If a person wants to keep such a dog they need to not only train it but keep it muzzled while on a walk
