HA! I have not had a home phone in over a decade. :)

One funny thing is that, because all of our internet at home in the sticks is through a mobile hotspot, our “my-fi” adaptor had a phone number, but obviously it could not receive calls. But it failed so I just pulled out my old LG-G3 as our mobile hotspot at home for our TV and all computers. It gets lots of phone calls now. It’s irrelevant because the ringer and vibrator are both turned off, but it “misses” a ton of calls.:)

It’s cheaper to have a home phone that you can hear all over the house rather than rely on a cell. Plus, I don’t enjoy hanging out the window to get a signal on cold nights.
