And all of us only have a tenuous grasp upon whatever health we have, including mental health. A stroke, or dementia, or an accident could leave us impaired. We humans are mortal, and ultimately very fragile.
To this day, I still have regrets about not doing more for someone - this was 24 years ago. I simply did not have it cross my mind. I would have maybe dropped $20-$25 at most. In those days, I would never have missed it. Not one bit. These days, LOL, well I saw a $20 earlier this week. I don’t dwell on it, but I have thought of it 3-4 times this year.
Things were going pretty well for me at that time. Evil corporation, LOL well, some of the folks I worked with but I always had plenty of money. I was living in abundance. Well, abundance for me. Of course I was working 15 hours a day. Not including my time on airplanes and driving to/from the airport. Back then it was known as a “Big 6” corporation.
A weird circumstance or two. Guess I was where I was supposed to be.
