The court’s 5-4 decision concerns a provision of immigration law that defines a “crime of violence.” Conviction for a crime of violence subjects an immigrant to deportation and usually speeds up the process.

the problem stemmed from deportation proceedings begun after a second conviction of “burglary”.
Seems the “crime of violence” was loosely interpreted here. SCOTUS previously fell 4-4 on the same case. Came from Circuit court that ruled it “too vague”.
Another interpretation is Blunt Direct Time.
Gorsuch was on CFR for a time, I was hoping he wasn’t infected with the globalist virus. Geez - can’t they find another Clarence Thomas or something?
