In his epic interview with Maria Bartiromo, Mohammad bin Salman, immediately after the Saudi upheaval (as predicted by Q and orchestrated by PDJT) stated that (paraphrasing from memory): “We want to take our country back to the more Westernized version we had before the events of 1979” (i.e., Iranian revolution and advent of Islamist movement).
Interesting, however Wahhabism had hold on Saudi Arabia long before 1979. Before 1973 and the Arab Oil Embargo, they quite simply and openly detested us. After, they seemed to start pretending to be our friends and allies in order to be able to weaken us from within.
Even a moderate long time ally such as Mubarak of Egypt had to go down. Thanks for sharing - I had not seen that interview.
