My trust bubble is working as intended.
I see NO downside to this action. None. It is exactly what I would have done, were I The Donald.
In fact, I predicted this many days ago. Basically, I said The Donald and Putin would bark at each other for a bit and we would lob a few missiles into Syria and done. We would then commence to pull all troops out.
The Donald, in his speech, basically declared ISIS finished and turned over any mop up to the people in the region. It couldn't be any more clear to me. He also warned Russia and Iran against allying with Syria. Russia, by standing down, pretty much has signaled their cooperation. Which leaves Iran.
Russia will continue to make face saving noise, and Iran is now making dooky in their pants. They, at least, get it. If some of our guys don't.
Anyway, I could be wrong and the world is coming to an end after all.

Recall the OTHERS states mentioned last night along with his conclusion that it will be up to the people of the region (ME) to bring peace.
Has SA/UAE/Egypt committed to “BOTG”? I think so.
