Yes, the only thing demanded of the Socratic method is that anyone participating be genuinely engaged in the discussion and seeking the truth of subject in question.
Critical thinking is not indoctrination but the stimulation of brain synapses working together in a synergystic manner so that the whole becomes greater than the sum of the parts!
Q stimulates this process, a process that has always existed since the beginning of Freerepublic, much to the chagrin of the establishment, the liberal left, the DNC, the GOPe, and any other enemies of freedom everywhere and of Our American Constitution in particular!

Hubby is on it. Researching and talking to family. His siblings all have their green cards Smart Professional people. We’re scattered when the Shah was taken out. Friend almost didn’t make it back to states. Very perilous time !

I think the main reason is bandwidth.
It takes a LOT more bandwidth (and therefore a lot more $$$) to host an image. By using external links we keep our costs down.
