Conspiracy theorists have sparked fresh fears that the end of the world is fast approaching.
On April 23, the sun, moon, and Jupiter will align in the constellation Virgo to bring on the start of the biblical Rapture, according to the latest claims.
And, that night, it's said the mysterious planet Nibiru will appear in the sky, followed by the onset of World War III, rise of the Antichrist, and seven years of Tribulation.
While the predictions are certainly alarming, you probably don't have to start bracing for the apocalypse just yet.

I agree. “Conspiracy theory” is not an accurate description. I would label it as fringe pseudo Christian theology.
Demonstrably false ...
I don't know of any biblical scholar that teaches only 144k are raptured.
[Quote-On April 23, the sun, moon, and Jupiter will align in the constellation Virgo]
The astronomy app I see has the sun traveling ‘through’ the Ram (Aries) that day, not Virgo (the Woman)
Not sure what these folks are seeing. Maybe the author flubbed the predicter’s message a little.
The sun doesn’t travel in the constellation Virgo until the fall (which folks noted as the Revelation 12 sign back in 2017)
I stumbled into that sign back in 2014 and saw the woman, clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet.
It seemed to happen, in some form or fashion, every year since.
And the days it has happened means something, but maybe only Muslims would even acknowledge the day.
Considering Muslims don’t read the New Testament, they certainly don’t or won’t seek to understand the meaning of it. But they seem to have company.
The word does exist in the latin Vulgate (rapturos) in the Thessalonians passages from a greek word which meant “to be carried or snatched away” The KJV translators translated those latin and greek words into English words we see to day as “carried away or lift up”. That is why the term “rapture” is used today as a hangover from the Catholic vulgate Bible. Rapturos in the latin simply means to be “carried or lifted away”! (”Rapt” is the root..to carry”. We call Hawks and Eagles “raptors’ as the attack from the air and carry off their prey)(
We “modern types” use the term “rapture” as a way of describing a joyful or exuberant level of emotional experience which has “carried us” away from our normal everyday level of composure. Such as “As Hitler spoke, one felt a chill of fear as one observed the look of unworldly rapture on the faces of the cheering crowd”. Or “She felt enraptured as her lover sang to her from below her balcony”
The rapture is a prophesied fact...but perhaps it will happen during some of those “feast days” you mentioned!
Well said ...
But it does provide introductory discussion for eschatology Sunday School class every week.
In a year holding a three, or seven,
or five, or nine, or maybe not,
Two things, might be people, or armies,
or buildings,
Or anything really, blades of grass,
or stoats, or crapulous charlatans
spouting mimsy,
Might do something nebulous.
Insert made-up-bit here.

You can support the rapture and not be on board with these date setters ... there are many of us in that camp.
The rapture is an imminent event ... no cosmic signs required, no building of a temple required, no anti-Christ required, etc. ... NOTHING has to happen prior to an imminent event or it is not imminent.
1 Corinthians 15:51-52, Lo! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
The world ended already...
It’s only a matter of tense.
At least go educate yourself ... you people who continue to claim this just look silly now ...
Go spend some time up on pre-trib.org and at least realize you are ignorantly (i'm assuming) propagating a myth.
Really?
1 Corinthians 15:51-52, Lo! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
Quick! find out real quick! I gotta know! if the world is going to end I’m not sending in my mortgage payment and I’m not renewing my subscription to “Survival In the End Times Before The Rapture.”
And given the comments and the general condition of the culture, it won't be that much of a dent in the population.
Hopefully PDJT and his lovely family will come with us - whenever it happens - so that should make the pagans happy...for a short time.
Pay no heed to this prediction. The sun will be in Aries, not Virgo, on April 23. And Nibiru doesn’t exist.
The Rapture is not the end of the world.
Whatever brings Him back, I welcome it.
I for one welcome our new Nibiruan overlords...
