While Garlington didnt discover the vessel, he believes "this is the first time it has been seen from this perspective." Oh Yes, the "First time ever" phrase. Everyone needs to think they are the first timers for so many things. I guess that has been restricted FAA airspace and no has EVER flown over the ship wreck. Give me a break.

Familiar territory.
A buddy dinged it up with his prop one time when it was just under the surface where it "normally" sits. It's right on the Holden Beach side of the inlet, IIRC.
There's lots of old boat skeletons in the area. d:^)
