Snowing in west metro Minneapolis again! It was 5 degrees last night! March was the coldest ever on record with average temp at 22.9. The next coldest was 23 degrees in 1936. I feel like we live in Narnia with a never ending winter. Normal highs should be approaching 60. It’s 30 as I type.
Before our last round of 6” snow I noticed daylilies and chives coming up. I’m sure the daffodils are up somewhere under the white stuff too.
This is sooooo depressing.
Well, as I said we are in a Grand Solar Minimum, and with all the volcanic eruptions going off, the season will be cooler and shorter. I lived in S. Dakota one year. Snowed 21” in October, and continued on and off with out melting.
Finally melted in June. It was depressing. Since we owned a trailer, we had the trailer hauled from Missouri to S. Dakota. So I sometimes, just closed all the curtains, and it seemed like we were still home in Missouri. LOL
