I hope you don’t lose too much revenue.
No no for crying out loud NO. Actually I never heard of it until just while ago on the news. I visit very few websites.
It’s been involved in 3/4 of the 10,000 child trafficking complaints?
Well, there goes my dating life!
I wonder why? I guess too much of the web traffic was coming from D.C.
Are you asking the question, or is this a statement of fact?
Well, now we know what the FBI will be doing tonight and this weekend.
Never heard of this site before.
it will be back up in the morning
our congresscritters need its services
“Never heard of this site before.”
Me, either. Hard to believe this stuff goes on in a (supposedly) civilized society founded by Christians.
Good job FBI!!!
I read it somewhere - can’t find source.
Interesting that this is dumped on a Friday afternoon.
The FBIC at work.
Whats this going to do to the unemployment rate? That may have something to do with the timing.
Boom?
Its one of the rare things feminists and statist conservatives both hate. Statist conservatives because they want to enforce no sex outside of marriage on the whole community and feminists because they want to close down as many choices men have for sex as possible since it will increase the power women have over men.
Personally I feel if backpage has actually knowingly allowed or aided specific crimes they should be punished but so far I haven’t seen any evidence of this. But they shouldn’t be punished simply because it allows random hookups others don’t like or because theres some bad apples abusing it anymore than FR should be shut down if one person on it turns out to be crazy. Not going to cheer government extending control over the internet.
I have seen some odd comments on this site in 20 years but yours really needs no explanation of what you are essentially saying.
Guess you will have to explore other options
Totally agree but the Taliban wing of FR says otherwise
