The theory that makes the most sense to me is that McLame is faking brain injury as a way to escape prosecution. (Same with Pelosi faking dementia, although I’d have a hard time believing that she’s sane.)
Treason has no statute of limitations. Same with murder. So there is no expiration date on McLame’s crimes. The only loophole for someone to escape trial is mental incompetence - not at the time of the crime, but at the time of the trial.
So if we observe a lot of evil people suddenly acting more demented than usual, I will assume they are laying the groundwork for a mental incompetence defense against being tried.
I saw an article today that Hitlery was slurring speech, symptoms of dementia. Can’t find it at the moment.

Interesting that we’re only seeing those at the top (afaik) who are putting on this act. They are trying to escape, but leaving their accomplices hung out to dry.
