And he is wealthy enough to put a real court down as a cover up so why is this fake tarp there and what do they do when it is rolled up. I don’t totally buy the burial theory as it would be easier to just take a boat out- unless he can’t part with his trophies. Or is he burying evidence of the notables who have visited for future reference/blackmail?
I can imagine they are readily available. Outdoor courts, especially clay, need cover from the rain. Why not make them look like a court?
Indoor gym floors may be too slick for decent courts but specific fabrics can be stretched over the floor (or cushioning) to facilitate team play/practice.
BYW, the latter was used for my college team in 1978.
There are shadows of the tennis court light poles, fence, and net. It is a real tennis court and not painted on the ground.
