My Brother-in-law was against weapons that could be fired rapidly with expanded magazines of 30 rounds or more. "Who needs that?" was his favorite refrain.

I then explained the facts of life to him.

#1. It is called the Bill of Rights...not the Bill of Needs. There is good reason for this.

#2. The 2nd Amendment will never get outdated. It guarantees that the 1st Amendment and all other Amendments cannot be infinged upon by any government.

#3. You live in a secluded area approximately 30 minutes from any law enforcement. You have a lot of nice things that would appeal to outlaws. You have a large cabin cruiser and several luxury automobiles that scream affluence sitting in an exposed shelter any passer-by can notice. Which means there is even more worth stealing inside your home.

#4. Let us hope that you are not home when thieves come calling.

#5. Considering all this, what would be your weapon of choice if you were home during a home invasion where you would be eliminated as an eye witness?
