I’ve always thought of Spades as Bridge’s little cousin. I play cribbage, too.

Yes, I think Spades is a derivative of Bridge. You just bit books instead of trump................

I like Cribbage. I think of Euchre as Bridge-lite since the reduced number of cards used seems to simplify things.

My paternal grandparents used to play Pinochle, but I’ve never tried that game.

Euchre is another "little cousin." I play it well; Bridge? Not so well! And you're right, I think it's now dominated by older folks.
