It replaces AD? The starting date of AD and CE are the same?
The whole thing is silly.
It’s obvious that everyone admits something tremendously huge and important happened right there at that cusp of BC/AD or BCE/CE or whatever.
The evangelical atheists want to push the idea that BC/AD is outmoded but they recognize the major event just the same because they count the years exactly the same way.
Why bother with new terminology? It doesn’t hide the thing they are trying to hide.
