I don't see the Royal Family as boss to the Pope. The British have lost religion several years ago. My 55 year Pen-Pal has told me over and over their churches have close by the hundreds. She couldn't even find Christmas services on her TV several years back. She has made the comment more than once...Americans are a very religious people.

What the heck am I saying? Anyone who can murder a Princess and wait for three days to react to the thousands of countrymen crying in the streets of England..to finally take action on her death...YES..it could very well be the QUEEN.

Regarding the rift between Brits and church and between Catholics and Protestants... It reminds me of the rift between Dems and Repubs. Maybe a false split designed to keep us focused on the other side as the “enemy” when the real enemies are those who try to keep us focused on our differences so that we ignore who is really pulling the strings.
