Oprah Winfrey latest movie A Wrinkle In Time just premiered, and its officially been labeled a flop.
The award-winning book that the movie is based on is a science fiction fantasy about Christianitys concept of good versus evil, but Winfrey and the Black Lives Matter director Ava DuVernay erased Christianity, making it New Age and politically correct.
Youll be shocked how Christians and white people are now blamed for its horrendous reviews. Oprah Winfrey starring in A Wrinkle In Time (left), a stock image of moviegoers (right).
Madeleine LEngles 1962 award-winning book A Wrinkle In Time is known for its Christian themes, as well as being a sci-fi fantasy about a young girl named Meg whose scientist father gets trapped in another dimension by his own governmental experiment. Well, Oprah and her new favorite director, Ava DuVernay, took the novel and transformed it into a hot mess of a movie.
The movie is about racial diversity and social justice, and the critics say it sucks. The Federalist reports, Critics are largely panning A Wrinkle In Time, and Director Ava DuVernay is not taking it well. According to her Twitter feed, white journalists of either gender simply dont understand her vision for the movie.

“Lots of people went to see Black Panther.”
Yes, including my daughter (who went all by herself because she had a 3 hour wait at the mall). She loved it (said the sister was great too, which seems to be the consensus) and she actually did say she thought I would like it a good deal. She put it on a par with Ironman, a super hero movie with some wit.
So, it’s all BS, nobody dislikes these movies because girls are in them, or blacks are or because girls made them or blacks did or whatever. People like good movies and don’t like crappy ones, so simple.
“Hattie McDaniel was actually a good person.”
And of course she gets BS from the modern left.
The first critic to pan it was vilified for ruining its perfect score.
They do not even try to hide their biased agenda.
I go to the movies frequently at various times of the week and I did not see any crowds going in or out of the theatres. Pretty normal for this year.
Your explanation seems to coincide with my observation. 2 theaters showing Panther. It was a surprise to see so few people.
So you castrated the Christian storyline and now you want to b!tch because Christians and white people object to your perversion by not buying tickets .... were you born stupid or did you have to work at it?
Didn’t know they were making a sequel...looking forward to it!

What a creepy ass racist.
looks like a tranie oompa loompa
Any chance they took ticket sales for one movie and rolled them over to BP? If it was another Disney film, Im sure they wouldnt mind that happening.
I'll eventually watch it, but not in the theater. I've liked the other Marvel Comics movies, so I would be surprised if I don't like this one, but I really really hate to be preached at by people who are paid to be entertainers.
The junk stuff that happens with Hollywood accounting is horribly unethical. That happens on every movie. The producers screw the crew. The distributors screw the producers. The chains screw the audience.
I've long said that we should stick a proctoscope up Hollywood accounting's @$$ and burn a few people for pulling some of that crap they pull. Since Hollywood makes a point to be our enemy, I think we should show it some reciprocal treatment when we get our hands on the power of government. As Glenn Reynolds says quite often: "Repeal the Hollywood tax cuts."
I think teaching Hollywood to stay out of politics would be good for the country.
Not happening. Chain theaters have their own accounting of receipts and cannot just transfer from one movie to another. And this practice was not unusual. I once spoke with an ABC guy 2 years ago right after Star Wars came out and he hinted they did the same thing. Disney has billions tied in to Star wars and they didnt want to look foolish.
I have no idea, but perhaps Max Americana might be able to acquire that information? Of course the potential is there that disclosing such information might cause him some trouble, and if such is the case, we can fully understand why he wouldn't want to do so.
Here’s another one: how many videos do you have of WHITE people in line to watch BP after the first weekend? I know 10 whites here in Hollywood who never saw the movie in the movie theater and 5 of them are registered WGA writers.
I think I recall reading something about that. I think I actually read that critique.
christians and white people. Gee O you should have released it in Somalia and Saudi
Ive enjoyed most the Marvel movies (big exception was Homecoming, which was turned into a PC joke), but its tough to watch with lib loudmouths like Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo. I dont know if Ill ever go to another one in a theater, though maybe the next Guardians.
I get the numbers.
What I don’t get is the insistence they all add up within days, without catering to massively changed audience dynamics.
Isn't that about half the movies Hollywood vomits up?
If Oprah wanted to make a black pity party social 'justice' movie why did she steal the name of a much loved children's book? Why not just 'do' the full 'pity/anger/pity/anger/white people's fault/pity/anger/pity' movie...
Oprah’s ego is out of control. She has become a major gasbag.
