"rich, intelligent, connected etc"

Do you really think that those things are what a natural woman 'goes for', in a Man?

I've been for 25 years with the most wonderful Man in the world (though I'm sure that every happy woman thinks that way about her man ;-).

He wasn't 'rich', or 'connected' - I had no interest in that. He WAS 'intelligent' - but I didn't marry him for that, either.

I married him because he was kind, wise, full of love, and highly principled. He was someone that I could love and respect, and I sensed that this would never change - I knew that I could count on his character.

Every year has only made me more convinced that I made the right decision.

A lot of men who are looking for a certain sort of woman have very strange ideas as to what THAT woman is looking for, herself...and a lot of people who want to be married are always wondering what the other person is going to give to THEM - not what they are going to offer, out of love, themselves.

It is a sociological fact that the average chick (80-90%) out there reading Romance books and watching 50 shades has the exact same shallow interests as the next average chick.

Just ask those guys who have a “social standing” allowing them to have many dates, and they pretty much are generic agendas. The issue is how can this girl in this rant stand out from all the other “btches” in the guy’s mind. And true that, what does she being to the relationship? He brings a very rich jewish culture while she has her vague washed out “WASP” credentials, whatever the hell that means
