About a decade ago, I read Brain Surgeon by Keith Black, a neurosurgeon affiliated with Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. I recall Dr. Black was convinced that cell phones could cause brain tumors and that he had seen patients with brains tumors who were obsessive cell phone users whose tumors were on whichever side of the head they held their cell phones.

I definitely feel like we’re seeing an uptick in glioblastoma. I know several people who are currently battling it, or have already lost. And whenever that topic comes up on Reddit, the number of people weighing on with stories about losing loved ones to it, or having it themselves right now, is staggering.
