video of keith moon destroying hotel room
I remember it well....
Few nights ago, I watched The History of the Eagles on Net Flix.
Joe Walsh used to partake in this activity. Sometimes with Keith Moon. Don’t understand it, personally.
I live in hotels, tear out the walls
I have accountants pay for it all
It was the thing to do in the seventies if you were a band. Seems like Led Zeppelin may have gotten the ball rolling.
Well the Who did bust up a few in their day, but mostly in the early years. This video is obviously staged, some footage made it into their documentary movie “The Kids Are Alright”
Heard he used to speed in his Maserati, too. ;)
With Steve Martin in the movie.
Heard a story about a famous rock band that was too tired to tear up their hotel room. So their managers had roadies do it just to keep up their image.
Last thing Keith Moon did the day he died was watch “The Abominable Dr. Phibes”
How old is he now?
Oh yeah, that’s right. He died 40 years ago.
Sad.
The Who should have done a Led Zeppelin and broke up when Moon died. They were never the same.
He killed a guy too, his chauffeur. Ran him over.
How Gay...
I saw this while getting the exploding drum video. Worth a look if you want to see a colorful drummer:

And he locks the doors in case he's attacked.
He wont do it again.
Fortune and fame can be tough to handle.
Back in those days you got rich selling albums. Tours were for partying.
These days albums don't generate squat so all your income comes from the road. Needless to say, there's fewer hotels, more motels, and nobody's throwing TVs into swimming pools.
