This fictional family, and the show’s very real creator, are further normalizing Trump and his warped, harmful political ideologies. There are times when we can consume problematic pop culture, but this is not one of those times. I saw the first two episodes of the “Roseanne” reboot, but that’s all I am going to watch. It’s a small line to draw, but it’s a start.

I empathize with the author’s feelings, but I feel a bit like a jew reading an article where a Nazi is lamenting a TV show that presents Jews as equal to the rest of us.
i.e. the sentiment is real, and I get it. But the source, in this case, is their wicked human nature.
To be clear, I mean my version of what she said would be, at the time I dumped TV, and what it did.
