Yes. The Seldon plan, the Q plan, based on palantir predictor methodology, in theory, would predict election trends like you describe. In my mind, this is the type of thing that Palantir would be useful for. That and others.

I think this is maybe a real thing. Definitely worth exploring and factoring in to the current "Plan" thinking.

Yes, the MI has tracked trends for the purpose of predicting elections. That’s why they picked Trump. Their research showed the type of candidate who could beat HRC. Trump fit the bill.

If Palantir was seeing anything correctly it would have foreseen HRC’s loss, if it’s an aggregate behavior predictor. The MOST IMPORTANT factor in swamp intel’s future to even pay the rent.

Wow! That sounds like Hari Seldon's Psychohistory from Isaac Asimov's Foundation Series. Seldon was able to predict the behavior of large groups, but his model broke down with smaller scales and unpredictability ensued.

For those unfamiliar, Wikipedia's take on Hari Seldon.

Here is a snippet ...

Hari Seldon is a fictional character in Isaac Asimov's Foundation series. In his capacity as mathematics professor at Streeling University on the planet Trantor, Seldon develops psychohistory, an algorithmic science that allows him to predict the future in probabilistic terms. On the basis of his psychohistory he is able to predict the eventual fall of the Galactic Empire and to develop a means to shorten the millennia of chaos to follow.
