Y’all amaze me with that overnight posting thing.... I guess I don’t get near enough daytime naps!
I look back today and finally realize why my grandparents never spoke to any of my brothers or sisters and especially my mother. I recently found a picture of my great grand-mother sitting on a porch of a small home wearing a full head dress.

It wasn’t all the cowboy and Indian hatred you saw on TV when we were kids. Letters and journals of New York Dutch show a respect and friendship with the local tribes. IMO, the most important would be that it would be easy (or easier) to silence him/them. The DS would know who to target, either physically or electronically.
