Does this pertain to the lever action rifles like the Henry? The article says it does, but isn’t exactly clear either.
They hold ten rounds in the tube, though 11 total rounds if there’s one in the chamber. Is it their intent to ban Henry lever action rifles?? Also the term “high capacity magazine” is sort of misleading in that there isn’t really such a thing as a “low capacity magazine”; the idea here seems to be banning any firearm that has a magazine of any capacity.
This was discussed in the Senate. It was agreed that the law does ban lever action 22lr firearms that hold more than 10. To make it clear, that means those firearms cannot be passeed down to the owners inheritors. They are forfeited to the state upon the owners passing.
