Had I never left the Obama White House to be part of the campaign, I am sure I would have asked the same question. I probably would have printed out the transcript of her remarks, and pored over them, trying to isolate the essence of what she had said that made this speech so much more appealing than anything she had said during the campaign. And I wouldn’t have found it. Because I needed to have the experience of working for a female presidential candidate to understand that why we liked “this Hillary” so much better than “candidate Hillary.” Fundamentally it wasn’t about the words she used in her concession speech but what she represented. She was no longer a woman pushing to be president. She was a gracious loser putting the needs of her country above her own. It was the role of Hillary as an ambitious candidate that troubled us.

There wasn't gender bias against Hillary. There was corruption bias. And policy bias.
Ultimately, Hillary lost because she has a long track record of being corrupt, and her progressive policies are bad for America.
The only reason she got so many votes is because she was the Democrat nominee, and the media has been on a full court press to elect Democrats. And the only reason she was the Democrat nominee is because she cheated to block out or minimize other candidates.
I’m afraid “last” should be in quotes...

What I find interesting about this article is that no only is her analysis wrong, but the most basic fact that the article is based on is false. Hillary’s concession speech was not significantly better received than her campaign speeches, particularly the convention speech. The facts she describes perfectly match the reaction to John Kerry’s concession speech, which was very well reviewed, much better than his convention speech, and indeed did prompt many to say that if he had shown that warmth on the campaign trail he might have won. She’s not just living in a different analytical universe but also in a different factual one.
Hillary would have given us the best government money can buy.

While I knew that Palmieri was ignorant, I had no idea the stupidity extended in so many different directions.
She mentions feeling (not “thinking,” of course) that Clinton was running against four males — Trump, Putin, Assange, Comey — and that a woman running might upset some “cosmic natural balance” by “upending the patriarchy.”
Hillary Clinton could “feel” all the “seen and unseen, cosmic and earthly” forces out there.
She even says that Clinton “came into this race with some reluctance.” (!!!)

Wow, Jennifer Palmieri’s Starbucks latte must have been spiked with some extra kool-aid or she was off her meds when she wrote that incredulous sentence. The next time you drive by a mental institution or facility don’t feel sorry for the patients in them. They’re more sane than the left!

Never knew a gracious lady, who a year and half after she lost, is still trying to schlep her book telling the world why it was everyone else's fault and not hers.
Never knew a gracious lady who is as ungracious as Hillary Clinton.
As evidenced by her 12 month non stop book door filled with hate and excuses all for money....
There was no concession speech prepared to be given because losing wasn’t going to happen. But it happened not because of anything Jen talked about but because not enough people outside of NY or Ca. were fooled by Hillary. Now, I’m not sure who is more delusional, Herself or Jen.
