Pretty much ANY organisation to “help” the disadvantaged (at least outside of churches), tends to be run by marxists. It’s been that way for a LOOOOOONG time. The only disabled people that aren’t forced into being marxist poster children are military veterans, or old people that they don’t give a crap about anyway.
I take offense to that. My daughter has a severe brain injury.
She’s conservative.
She also is a statistics major with a 3.8 GPA.
She’s worked very hard to overcome severe speech problems and seizures and other issues.
She doesn’t want help from anyone and is determined to make it on her own without the help of anyone.
