We all have something in common with our father's serving during WWII. That's probably why I'm so patriotic, not wanting to see their personal sacrifices be made in vain. Both my father and father in law were in the Navy during the war, mine was stationed at the Jacksonville Fla Naval Air Station.
My husband lost his uncle on the USS Gilligan, he was a gunner at his gun when a Kamikaze pilot slammed into the ship. His Purple Heart circulates around the family members, not sure who is in possession of it now.

Well, somehow I hope the Millennials can be converted, because right now they overwhelmingly supported Clinton. Fortunately, they did not turn out to vote sufficiently to tip the election.
