GROTESQUE! I am so angry, I could throw furniture around. The ever-capricious Trump strikes again. Just when we think he has learned something about Washington, he goes and beggars us with this pork-filled obscenity. Why didn't he veto it? The only reason he gave was to "protect the military". Fiends like Schumer are dancing in the street with s-eating grins on their filthy faces, having gotten everything they wanted and giving up NOTHING. We get to pay for continuing DACA, very little wall--and that with crippling restrictions on its construction, forbidding the use of concrete! He continues to fund the baby parts vendor Planned Parenthood. Every piece of progress conservatives have made with Trump has been wiped out in a penstroke.

I want to take the s-eating grinning Schumer, RINO-an, McConnell, Graham, et al and toss them into a vat filled with airplane honey bucket slop, then take a baseball bat to their tender manly parts, because it is THEY who pushed this obscenity on Trump. And Trump needs his face slapped for signing it. I am disgusted with his inconstancy. We are so screwed.

And the DJIA immediately drops another 400 points.

After dropping 700 points yesterday when the public found out what the uniparty was sending to the President.

But that is just a delayed reaction to the tariffs . . . that were announced by President Trump nine days ago?

Disgustingly predictable spin.

Not much more PRESIDENT TRUMP could do. Vent your anger at MITCH MCCONNELL and PAUL RYAN. They are the culprits.

I am so despondent.

He acted like a puxxy. He did not have the baxxs to veto the bill; To stand strong and say I will not help destroy this country and renege on my campaign promises. If you in Congress want to do that you will do it by yourself.

No. He wanted a deal. Deals are more important to him than saving this country.

Further he wants line item veto and abolition of the filibuster. He does not understand the need for balance of power.

Just shix.#

Trump should have vetoed it.

He said that he would like a line-item veto. Thing is when a bill has passed both houses of Congress it cannot be changed after that point. Any changes made after both houses of Congress have passed it, makes the bill null and void because it becomes a different bill when the president lines through parts he does not like. It then cannot become a law after doing his line-iteming.

I think it was during either Reagan or Bush where the president was given the line-item veto and it was determined correctly by the Supreme Court that a president can't do that. By doing so he creates a new bill different from what both houses of Congress has passed.

I know how much easier it would be to just take a big old red marker to all the odious stuff, but according to the Constitution it is not supposed to be done that way.

Best thing the president can do is strike through the stuff he doesn't like and then hand it back to Congress and have them change it and pass it again. "And then I will sign it."

Bad as this is, the real problem is what lurks deep within those 2000+ pages in the bill that no one knows about.

And if you aren’t going to veto the bill, don’t say you are going to veto it on Twitter. It just makes you look weak and stupid.

TOO LATE for that. The idiot signed it, lock, stock and barrel.

The POTUS who got the line-item veto was Clinton.

It was challenged by somebody in his own party ten minutes after he used it.

An Amendment is the only way to achieve this.
It is sorely needed.
