Three ministers from the Norwegian government presented on Friday a proposal to ban face-covering garments at schools, daycares and other educational institutions.
The proposal was presented by ministers from each of the three parties in the coalition government Finance Minister Siv Jensen (Progress), Minister of Education and Integration Jan Tore Sanner (Conservative) and Minister of Education Iselin Nybø (Liberal).
Even though few people wear the burqa and niqab today, there are instances of it. A national ban will make things clearer for everyone, Sanner said to NRK.
The ban will ensure good communication in educational contexts, the minister added. Norway is an open society where we are used to seeing each other face to face. This is particularly important in teaching situations, daycares and schools, he said.
The ban will not apply to small children attending daycares. Children need open and safe communication. Children will not be covered by the ban. Experience shows us that children do not use the niqab and burqa, Sanner said.

Good for them. The muzzies will have their head scarfs in a knot though.

What do they require on Driver’s Licenses???
Putting a band-aid on a slashed artery methinks. How about not letting the islamofacists into the country in the first place? Better than nothing, I guess.
