In the case the critics do not matter because all the Disney princess wanna be's will be dragging their parents to see this. From what I read about the showings before the Broadway opening be prepared for girls and tweens to shot in your ear "singing" the lyrics.

Unbelievable that they cast a BLACK man for “Kristoff” (Anna’s love interest). A Black man, in a place (Norway) and time where one would never even have been seen, let alone welcomed into a royal relationship. But as we know, “cultural appropriation” is fine if it is White culture being sullied.

The critics are probably unhappy it doesn’t include a choreographed simulated orgy.

I was disappointed in the musical numbers, but it’s a kids’ show so my opinion not real relevant.

Casting a black person as Anna’s love interest, ugh. If they wanted blacks prominent in the story they should have made Anna also black.

They push inter-racial couples relentlessly. And 95% of the time it’s a black man with a white woman. See, black men don’t like it when white guys move in on “their” women. This is all a one-way street.

Despite being in the trusted hands of Broadway phenomenons Cassie Levy (Elsa) and Patti Murin (Anna),

Patti is on the left.

I believe this show is completely sold-out until the end of this year. I don’t think Disney is too worried about what the critics have to say about it, unless they are rich 13 year old girls.

That’s why it’s acceptable to have the TV ad where the black gal is tossing out all the belongings of her white BF as he stands out on the sidewalk.
Reversing the races would of course NEVER fly.

It's "color blind" casting in the theater today, unless the the role is one traditionally played by a person of color...in which case it must be played by someone of the "correct" ethnicity.
