The search for the Austin bomber showed us that the FBI, ATD and other agencies have the technological resources to track down persons and where and where certain events occurred.
Those same resources can be used by the Feds to track down that disc and destroy it.
If the disk is the real deal, there are most likely multiple copies stored in multiple places.
