Of course. I am now gun shy. There was a time that I thought George W. Bush was a good guy. So my ability to determine good and bad from afar has been curtailed.
Yeah, it is seeming more and more like the age-old view that pols are just scum has credence.
Before you doubt your ability to distinguish good from bad, consider that the images of the people we’ve been trying to judge has been VERY CAREFULLY manicured and curated by the media, the “elite”, etc.
I’m fairly confident that if we saw the real picture, we’d be able to tell. Also, I think we can go back and find a few things that were clues. Example: Bush’s constant reassurance that Islam is a “religion of peace”. Yeah, at the time I excused that because I thought he was trying to maintain order and avoid alienating additional bad actors. Now I have a much different view. (And on yet the other hand, I see how the NWO types always need to create a boogieman for the sheep to hate and to fight in order to profit from continuous war.)
