Not to cause you any more pain, but did you see this quote from Shumer?

“In a certain sense we were able to accomplish more in the minority than we had the presidency or were even in the majority.”

By God, I hope The Donald reads this and it pisses him off enough to veto. We are truly boned if he doesn't.

I swear my morale is on a roller coaster ride tonight. But let's cheer up, no doll. There's a lot of fight ahead. Budget or no budget.

Yeah I saw that quote earlier. Sad fact he is right.

It’s only for 6 months but it will give me no comfort if he signs off on it.

I am sick to death of the playing of politics.

I feel the roller coaster, too. If Trump vetoes this horrible budget and initiates a government shutdown on significant length, Congress could back down with little damage to themselves. If Trump backs down and signs, he will be a domestic lame duck the rest of his single term in office.

Schumer is in part trolling Trump. Two New Yorkers. Trump isn’t going to veto the bill.

Yeah. Quite disappointing. Praying POTUS TRUMP has an end run planned to right the wrongs at some near future point in this very flawed bill.

I’ve lost track of how many swamp critters have decided not to run again - but it was quite a lot. What that means from a practical view is that they are no longer worried about getting re - elected.

Hence they are free to do whatever dirty deeds they want to do, as well as what the moneyed interests want them to do.

And the GOPe ain’t exactly out looking for conservatives to replace the ones retiring. In fact it’s especially troubling to see that Romney is planning on replacing Hatch in Utah.

This is a problem for the people in each state and precinct. I don’t know what the deadlines are as it varies by states, but Patriots need to register to run in the Primaries for precinct chair. It only costs about $10 depending on the state.

When I looked into this for 2010, more than half of the chairs were empty and no one was running. A chair is responsible for informing about 500 people - handing out brochures and GOTV. Low info people often just vote what the chair tells them.

Just as important, these precinct chairs get to vote on Party leadership - that is how Patriots can takeover the party. But it takes people willing to go out and do it.

I think the article linked below is well worth the read, for any who really care and have the ability and stamina to do a little walking in the neighborhood-if you aren’t able, maybe you know someone you can convince.

HERE IT IS - STRAIGHT FROM THE EAGLE FORUM - P. SCHLAFLY

The President is, indeed, the most powerful man in the world - but the presidency is not the most powerful office in the world.

Another office is more powerful because it chooses whose names will appear on the ballot for elective office and what will be the policies of the political parties that provide the major support for those candidates.

To understand why this office is so powerful, you must understand the Seven Steps of government.
