Our cat came to us as a “foster” on 3/17/2013. We were just keeping him for awhile, until a permanent home could be found. I cannot believe how much he means to us now.

That’s some good news today. Thanks for the thread.
One of ours has been missing since Saturday after the neighbors brought in a vicious dog. The monster is gone. We’re worried but hoping he is just upset and will return home soon.

I am so glad for the owner that he has his cat back, but I feel horrible that they missed the cat’s whole lifetime together. The cat basically is home now to die, but at least he will be loved to little pieces until that time.
