LOL!
My husband named our two current cats after characters in Jim Croce songs: Leroy and Jim(my)

Dogs have masters.
Cats have staff.

Pets don’t carry wallets with IDs...
Thank you, Humane Society, for enlightening us all about that. I had never realized that was the case. Wow, the things you can learn on the internet. Simply amazing.

I am so glad for the owner that he has his cat back, but I feel horrible that they missed the cat’s whole lifetime together. The cat basically is home now to die, but at least he will be loved to little pieces until that time.

14 years? That’s pretty long lived for a cat.

Same story at our house. The wife is crazy for cats. Got seven of them. Our latest edition is “Rocky’’. A big fluffy guy who's kinda dumb but very lovable. We were supposed to be just minding him while his previous owners got settled in their new home in North Carolina. That was two years ago.

SEVEN. Wow. Ours seems to be neurotic enough to take up all of my energies to wait on him, try to engage in play, pet him the right way so he thinks he can eat, try to read his little mind constantly, etc... (or maybe I am the neurotic one!)
