David Hoggo reminds me of the character, Daniel Bernstein, from the TV mini-series, “V”.
Daniel had no trouble cooperating with the alien lizard people and turning his fellow humans in. In the end, Daniel got his just desserts as he ended up becoming the main entree for the lizard people, lol.

Y’know, I watched a few seasons of House of Cards, although not the last one. I never understood why the writers felt it important for President Spacey to have a bisexual relationship that included his favorite agent/bodyguard. Those sequences are when I go to the fridge for a snack.
Maybe Spacey really enjoyed those scenes, and didn’t have to be pushed very hard by the script writers.
