We currently have a state (California) in open rebellion.

Suppose AG Sessions arrested a mayor or two in California. The liberals, antifa and the illegals would go wild.

Suppose rioting started in Saint Louis, and a few more cities with BLM and antifa, suppose illegals started marching in a few cities.

John Doe citizen is getting pretty sick of all of the above.

It wouldn’t take a lot for most of the citizens to back the President sending troops or NG in to restore order and finally start arresting said people.

Suppose there were rolling black outs, suppose parts of the grid went down.

How many people are going to be yelling at the President and Congress to fix things?

How many people actually know what martial law is? How many actually care if it gets their EBT cards working, streets clear so they can go to work, power working so they have air conditioning and banks work?

How many people would even notice unless the news media was screaming it 24/7? If we lost the grid for a couple of days, they couldn’t do much of that.

This country is so far gone, I don’t think most people would
care if things just started working again.

Then there’s us, the deplorables. Most of us trust President Trump to do whatever is necessary to rid this country of evil.

I don’t know and I’m many, many posts behind and trying to catch up, but I think he and his generals could pull it off.

And I don’t think POTUS would go on national tv and say, oh by the way, I’m trying Hillary before a military tribunal. I think people will be arrested and tried with a minimum of publicity.

Not yet you don't, but it's getting close. Open rebellion would consist of a state government resisting the federal government by force of arms. If the federal government attempted the arrest of a few mayors, and the state authorities fought back in a gun battle, then you could claim open rebellion.

Right now, it's more like a quiet rebellion.

I think you make good points.

I'd like to nominate globalist Governor Moon Beam of California for the first frog-marched perp walk. Couldn't happen to a scummier more traitorous governor this side of hell.
