Given the corruption and passivity at the top and no doubt middle levels, it could take a while to build the numerous criminal cases and HR the rest out. At the same time, capable replacements need to be identified for timely insertion. At least in the ideal world I like to imagine.
Meanwhile, I think its fairly certain Trump et al are getting reliable inside information.

No, DHS needs to be abolished. FBI needs to lose all intelligence activities and be restricted to bank robbery etc. The CIA should be utterly forbidden from operating inside the USA. None of our DOD spy agencies should have authority to spy on US citizens without a signed paper by the president.
Then when it happens, there is ZERO doubt who is left holding the bag.
And the unconstitutional FISA secret courts, and all related secret law needs to be abolished.
